Established by Federico Borromeo in 1618, the Veneranda Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, one of the oldest museums in Milan, houses Caravaggio's Basket of Fruit, Leonardo da Vinci's Portrait of a Musician and Codex Atlanticus, the preparatory cartoon for the School of Athens by Raphael and other masterpieces by great artists such as Tiziano, Bernardino Luini, Bruegel. Its evocative spaces are also the ideal location for private events, special evenings and more.
How to visit Pinacoteca Ambrosiana
Ad Artem offers different ways of visiting, depending on the reference target. We offer guided tours for individuals, groups, companies and schools, which may also include the Crypt of San Sepolcro. We also offer laboratory visits for school children and teenagers. Families with children aged 6 to 10 can may also take part in playful visits. Companies and individuals can choose the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana as events location: a conference, a seminar, a presentation or even a convivial moment with which to open or to close a guided tour behind closed doors.
