Castle battlements

Milan from above

Look at Milan from a new and suggestive point of view: the battlements of the Sforza Castle. Walk along the walkways and enjoy a 360° view of the city. From up here you see the Duomo of Milan with its famous Madonnina, the Porta Nuova district with its skyscrapers, the new CityLife district with its three symbolic skyscrapers: the Dritto, the Curvo and the Storto. You enjoy a spectacular view of the Sempione Park and, of course, of the Sforza Castle, one of the symbols of the city of Milan. On good weather days, your gaze reaches as far as the Alps.

The history of the Sforza Castle

During the guided tour of Ad Artem you learn about the history of the Sforza Castle and you discover that Leonardo da Vinci also played an important role. You also enter two towers of the Castle, closely observing the peculiar structure of the Sforza Castle and its dual role of Renaissance palace and fortress. The Castle Battlements tour ends in the Stanza delle Guardie, inside the Torrione dei Carmini, where you can observe the faithful reproductions of the weapons that characterized the soldiers' equipment. A unique experience, not to be missed!
