The Sforza Castle is one of the symbols of the city of Milan. Besides that, the building safeguards works of great historical and artistic value (paintings, objects , sculptures, tapestries and much more) housed in the richly adorned halls of the Castle Museums.
Here, visitors can admire some of the most beautiful art treasures of the castle, including the funeral monuments of Bernabò Visconti and Gaston de Foix, the remains of the church of Santa Maria di Brera, the Banner of the City of Milan, the Duke’s Treasure, the "camera picta" with the Stories of Griselda, the Madonna Between Saints by Andrea Mantegna, portraits painted by Lotto and Tiziano, and the Trivulzio Tapestry. The grand finale of the tour is the view of the Rondanini Pietà by Michelangelo.
